An up an coming young opening
bowler
went to training with a cut above his eye that was swollen and
also black! Schaef found out that he was practicing his
drumming when he dropped a drumstick which bounced off a drum
and hit him above the eye (could have had a stitch...but sterrie
strips held it together). Scaef thought it was pretty funny so
started calling him - "Stick"...!!! After being
called "Stick" a few times the young fella said - "You're
going to keep calling me that aren't ya"!! to which Schaef
replied "Yeh.....I'll "drum" it into you for a while yet"!!!
